Welcome to Portugal! Take your time to unpack, relax, and shake off the travel fatigue. In the evening, the whole group gathers for an official Welcome Dinner. We’ll enjoy authentic Portuguese food and local wine, get to know our fellow riders, and hold a comprehensive safety and route briefing for the upcoming adventure. Rest well.. Tomorrow, we hit the road.

Gentlemen, start your engines. The moment you press the starter button, the office fades away. We leave Lisbon behind and immediately hit the legendary N247 – a road that carves its way right along the edge of the Atlantic cliffs. After a mandatory photo stop at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, we turn our front wheels inland. The salty ocean breeze is replaced by the scent of eucalyptus as we tackle the flowing curves of the N8 through Torres Vedras and the medieval walled city of Óbidos. We end our first day by rolling into Nazaré, parking our bikes, and watching the sunset over the world’s biggest surf waves at the North Canyon.
Ride: Coastal cliff-hangers transitioning to flowing, rhythmic inland sweepers.
Today, we go from sea level to the clouds. After a fast morning escape across the coastal plains, the real work begins at the foothills of Lousã. We drive into the “Green Labyrinth” of the N236, a dense, twisty forest road that demands your full attention. But that’s just the warm-up.
In the afternoon, we enter the Serra da Estrela National Park and begin our summit attack. The trees disappear, the temperature drops, and the landscape turns into a lunar, rocky wilderness. We ride hairpins with zero guardrails all the way up to Torre (1993m), the highest paved road in Portugal. The day’s masterpiece is the descent: carving down the magnificent Zêzere Glacier Valley to our mountain resort.
Ride: High-speed morning warm-up, tight forest serpentines, and breathtaking alpine hairpins.
Time travel exists, and we are riding through it today. Waking up above the clouds, we descend deep into the mystical Açor mountains. Our first major stop is Piodão, an isolated village built entirely of dark slate stone with bright blue doors, it feels like riding straight onto a movie set.
After a strong espresso and local mountain food, the riding rhythm shifts dramatically. We join the legendary N2 (Estrada Nacional 2), the Portuguese equivalent of Route 66. Following the winding Zêzere River, the asphalt is pristine and the corners are long, wide, and predictable. Put on your cruise control, listen to the engine, and just enjoy the ultimate riding flow. We arrive in the afternoon at the ancient Templar city of Tomar.
Ride: Technical, narrow mountain descents opening up to world-class, high-speed cruise control sweepers.
This is the victory lap. We leave the Templar castles behind and surf the fast, open agricultural sweepers of the Ribatejo region. Right when you think the mountains are behind us, we tackle the Serra de Montejunto – a lone, steep ridge rising from the plains. We ride the narrow, forgotten road to the abandoned 18th-century royal ice factory at the summit, taking epic photos with the Atlantic Ocean visible in the far distance.
By afternoon, we cruise back to the lisbon and we return the bikes. Then we will have short transfer to ocean breeze of Ericeira. Tonight, we don’t do tourist traps. We take you to an exclusive, private dinner hosted by a local Portuguese family. Fresh local cuisine, cold Vinho Verde, and stories from the road.
Ride: Fast countryside sweepers, a technical ridge climb, and a relaxed cruise to the coast.
Wake up to the sound of the Atlantic waves crashing against the shore in Ericeira. Enjoy a slow, breakfast with your fellow riders.
When you are ready, we orgnize private shuttle and it will pick you up directly from the hotel lobby and drop you off at Lisbon Airport for your flight home.

The Ancient Odyssey (All-Inclusive)
Olympus, Sparta, the Corinth Canal, and so on.. the best parts were the small mountain roads and villages. The daily distances were just right, leaving plenty of time for the taverns. Every single day was a highlight!
What a great trip with perfect Greek spring weather. The route choices were clearly well-thought-out and the bikes worked perfectly; all I had to do was enjoy the ride and the scenery.
The Classic 5-Country Loop
A pro week in the Balkans! Bikes ready and so much to see. The routes were chosen with the scenery in mind, but there was also a nice balance of urban environments.
The hotels were great, the meals were experiences in themselves, and the price level is very affordable. These countries offer plenty of contrast, ruggedness, and the kind of motorcycling routes you can only dream of in Finland.
If I had to pick one highlight, Durmitor National Park was probably the best. The whole trip was a 5/5
