The story of SFB Motorcycle Tours (formerly Safari Finland Bike), begins far away from the warm, twisty mountain roads of Southern Europe. It started deep in the rugged wilderness of Northern Finland, when two friends, a tourism veteran from the north and a motorcycle-obsessed electrician from the heartland joined forces.
For two decades, we have been running demanding snowmobile safaris and wilderness expeditions in extreme Arctic conditions. That experience taught us the true meaning of logistics, safety, and leading a group. When we combined this “Nordic Reliability” with our lifelong passion for motorcycles, SFB Motorcycle Tours was born. We realized that whether you are riding a snowmobile through a frozen forest or a heavy adventure bike across the Albanian Alps, the recipe for a perfect trip is the same: stunning scenery, zero stress, and unforgettable camaraderie.
Our Riding Philosophy: The Journey is the Destination
We don’t do boring. We actively avoid highways, traffic jams, and long, exhausting straightaways. We believe the best roads are smaller, higher, and twistier.
Our tours are designed for the true enthusiast. We keep the daily mileages reasonable because an adventure shouldn’t feel like a forced march. We want you to have time to stop for a coffee in a hidden mountain village, take photos, and arrive at the hotel early enough to enjoy a cold beer and great local food with your fellow riders. We carefully handpick our accommodations from proven, high-quality hotels and never massive tourist traps.

Juha is the founder and leading force behind SFB Motorcycle Tours. With over 20 years of professional guiding experience under his belt, he is a true veteran of the hospitality and safari industry. Although his roots are firmly planted in the Finnish wilderness, he found his ultimate calling on two wheels later in life.
Juha has ridden extensively across the Nordics, the Baltics, Greece, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary, Romania, and every single country in the Balkans. He knows the hidden curves of Eastern Europe better than most locals. When you ride with Juha, you are following a guide who prioritizes your safety and pure riding joy above all else.

Whether it’s the jungles of Southeast Asia or the high passes of the Alps, the true exploration of a country always begins on two wheels.”
Jukka’s passion for riding ignited at 15 and has since taken him across the globe, from tackling dirt trails in Cambodia and crossing Vietnam to navigating the perfectly twisting asphalt of Spain and Portugal. A modern adventurer, his mission is simple, to ride the world and find the absolute best roads and hidden gems. He uses his years of travel experience to pick the greatest routes, local spots, and views, making sure every rider gets to experience the trip of a lifetime.
Drawing from these global miles and his professional background as a wilderness guide in Lapland, Jukka knows exactly how to read the elements and keep his group safe in any condition. At SFB, he serves as a Tour Guide and our official Route Scout, pouring his real, on-the-ground experience into every itinerary so your journey is a genuine, unforgettable adventure.

My first trip was on a 125cc bike in 1979, and the passion for motorcycle touring just keeps growing.“
Olli is a true touring veteran whose journey began over four decades ago. Since his very first domestic trip on a 125cc light motorcycle in 1979, his enthusiasm for the open road has only grown stronger. With an impressive 300,000 kilometers ridden all across Europe, he brings a wealth of deep, practical touring experience to the SFB team.
While his favorite international destinations include the majestic Alps, Italy, and the diverse landscapes of the Balkans, Olli is equally at home off the beaten path. In Finland, he spends a lot of time navigating the country’s endless gravel roads. The northern wilderness regions of Kainuu and Lapland hold a special appeal for him, drawing him back time and time again to explore their rugged beauty. Welcome aboard the adventure!

My first trip to the Balkans left a permanent mark on my soul. Now, I want to share that exact same unforgettable feeling with you.”
Meet Juri, a true professional of the road hailing from the rugged landscapes of Rautavaara, Finland. Working daily as a heavy-duty timber truck driver, Juri is a highly experienced motorcyclist who brings a calm, rock-solid driving expertise and steady nerves to the SFB team. When you have spent decades mastering both heavy vehicles and two-wheelers, safety and situational awareness come naturally.
While his personal garage houses a custom rat-style chopper, a bike built strictly for attitude rather than touring. Juri’s heart was captured by adventure riding in the autumn of 2024. Experiencing the breathtaking scenery of the Balkans on our “Albania Special” tour was a turning point. The region made such a profound impact on him that he is now stepping into the role of tour guide, ready to lead the pack and ensure your adventure is just as epic as his first.

Meet Timo, a seasoned touring veteran hailing from Nilsiä, Finland. With a passion for two wheels that ignited in his youth, Timo brings decades of versatile riding experience to the SFB team. Having ridden actively and continuously for the past 20 years, he has racked up countless kilometers on extensive domestic and international journeys.
Timo is a rider who has truly explored “all kinds of paths.” He is equally at home cruising on smooth tarmac as he is navigating more challenging off-the-beaten-path routes. This deep, diverse understanding of different riding environments makes him an invaluable tour leader. With Timo navigating the way, you can trust in a calm, confident, and safe pace, allowing you to focus entirely on the joy of riding and the breathtaking scenery.
