Greece Tour Details & Rider Info

Touchdown in historic Athens (ATH). We handle your airport transfer to our hotel. Tonight, the expedition officially begins with an authentic Welcome Dinner. We meet the crew, brief the route, cover safety protocols, and get into the zone.

Ride: 0 km. Arrival, briefing, and getting ready.

Helmets on, visors down. We pick up our machines and immediately hunt for the curves, leaving the city behind via a fast ferry to Evia Island. The day is pure riding joy, following rhythmic coastal tarmac to the northwest. Our post-ride reward is a soak in natural thermal hot springs and a refreshing dip in the Euboean Gulf.

Ride: Sweeping coastal tarmac and relaxed island twisties.

We catch an early ferry back to the mainland for a day built for true riders. This is bit more demanding, diverse stage packed with technical mountain passes and fast, open sweepers offering breathtaking high-altitude views. By sunset, we carve our way down to the Gulf of Corinth for a traditional seaside feast.

Ride: A demanding mix of technical mountain passes and fast, high-altitude sweepers.

Crossing the spectacular Rio-Antirrio Bridge, we enter the Peloponnese peninsula, a true biker’s paradise. We trade a short highway transit for quiet, winding country roads slicing through endless olive groves. After a stop at Ancient Olympia, we climb towards an idyllic mountain village on roads custom-made for adventure bikes.

Ride: Flowing country roads through olive groves, transitioning into steep mountain climbs.

After a mountain breakfast, we carve our way through traditional villages toward Kalamata and the legendary city of Sparta. Today delivers arguably the best asphalt of the expedition: rhythmic, incredibly grippy, and fast. We link premium mountain curves all the way down to a lively coastal village buzzing with adventure seekers.

Ride: Fast, rhythmic sweeping curves on premium, high-grip mountain tarmac.

A day of stunning riding contrasts. We navigate a mix of rugged mountains and rolling countryside back toward the historical capital regions. The pace allows us to take in the monumental Corinth Canal, an engineering marvel slicing vertically through solid rock, before settling in to enjoy the relaxed Mediterranean coastal vibe.

Ride: Relaxed rolling countryside roads mixed with scenic coastal cruising.

We tackle the “Backyard of Athens,” climbing Mt Parnitha’s serpentines for a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the capital. We then push to the southernmost tip of the peninsula, Cape Sounion. Parking our machines at the Temple of Poseidon overlooking the Aegean Sea is the ultimate finale. We return the bikes and raise a glass to an epic expedition.

Ride: Tight mountain serpentines (Mt Parnitha) followed by a sweeping coastal run to the cape.

Breakfast, high-fives, and airport transfers. You leave with a camera full of memories and a soul full of Mediterranean adventure. Until next time.

Ride: 0 km. Airport transfer and departure.

Frequently Asked Questions

You don’t need to be a Dakar Rally racer, but this expedition is not for beginners. You must be at least 25 years old and have held a valid A-class motorcycle license for a minimum of 4 years. You should be fully comfortable handling a large adventure bike (like a BMW GS or Yamaha Tenere) on tight serpentine mountain roads and varying tarmac conditions. We ride at a sensible, safe pace, but solid riding fundamentals are required to truly enjoy the sweeping curves of the Greece.

Organized chaos is the best description. Traffic in cities like Athens can be hectic, but our Tour Leader knows the flow and will guide you safely out. Once we hit the mountain roads and the Peloponnese, the traffic disappears. We ride in a disciplined group formation, we don’t take unnecessary risks, and safety is our #1 priority.

Since we ride in October, you can expect absolutely perfect weather, warm sunshine on the coast and a crisp, refreshing breeze up in the mountains. A light mid-layer is usually all you need for the higher altitudes.

Bring your own or rent: You are welcome to bring your own trusted riding gear. However, if you want to travel light, riding gear (helmets, jackets, gloves, and GPS devices) is available for rent at the starting location (subject to availability). Just let us know your preference when booking! Keep your evening wear casual to save space in the panniers.

Yes, definitely! Absolutely. The Greece Odyssey is perfect for couples. The BMW R1250GS is the “King of Comfort” for passengers, and the pace is touring-oriented, not racing. We stay in high-quality hotels, so your partner will enjoy the evenings as much as the ride. The price for a passenger is lower, and you will share a double room (no single supplement fee).

A standard EU/EEA driving license is fully valid in Greece. If your license is from the UK or outside Europe (e.g., USA, Canada, Australia), we recommend carrying an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside your national license, as Greek authorities may request one during roadside checks. Note: We always verify your documents before the trip.

Note: We always verify your documents before the trip.

Yes, really. We believe an adventure should be stress-free. Our “All-Inclusive” price covers:
The Bike: BMW R1250GS rental & insurance.
Fuel: We pay at every pump.
Food: Breakfast, lunch, and 3-course dinners daily.
Tolls & Ferries: All logistics are paid for.
Hotels: Premium accommodation. You only need your wallet for personal souvenirs, alcohol, and flights.
